Do a little more research about the battery swap. Tesla is building stations to do just that, they are also building super charging stations that provide a full charge in 20-30 mins. Not too shabby starting at that standpoint. The time will reduce as the technology improves.

Swap take less than 90 secs, you pull on a platform, a machine pulls the old battery out and swaps in a new one.

Yes I'm sure the stations are going to be more prevalent in urban areas than rural areas. But with time there will be plenty to handle where ever you are at

Tesla is much different from other electric cars. Their technology is much more efficient than current hybrids. Was actually in a rural area an saw a guy driving his tesla, he seemed to not be bothered. You can charge it in less than 20 mins with their super chargers. With your common wall unit it's a few hours. Don't for get you still can drie 280 miles on a full charge

For each station to be profitable, there would have to be a lot of Teslas on the road in the areas to be serviced

You do realize the government is giving these people buying a 70-100k luxury car $7,500-$12,000 for every car, on top of the incentives going straight to Elon Musks pocket.
