That's how much I earned today for an hour of jury service. Woot.

Got checked in, seated in my assigned seat, judge came in and announced that the criminal case had just settled. Done for the week.

What should I buy with my new found wealth???

i also get 30 miles of mileage at 41-1/2 cents/ mile ($12.45 more!!)

minimum wage in the city is $11.50 i think....

The amount jurors are paid is pointless. It would be less insulting if they didn't pay anything and chalked it up to a cost of being a citizen.

The wife had jury duty last year. I think it started out at something like $1.25 the first few days, then went up to 7 or 8.
