Here's my point. Yes, several of the examples I posted were long before the flag code was adopted. Just because it was prior to the flag code doesn't make it any less disgusting.

Seeing that the Lincoln flag that you are trying to make a point with was 80+ years before the flag code existed, I fail to see the relevance or why I should be "outraged".


As for Nixon, the only of your examples AFTER the flag code, yea... that is complete horseshit too. Is that the standard argument for Obama these days? It's ok as long as you can point to someone else who has done something wrong? Maybe he should think about taking the same end to his presidency that Nixon took.

The fact that the other examples were before the flag code even existed is VERY relevant. The president of the United States blatantly, and for a f*cking profit no-less, is violating one of the most common parts of the Flag Code. No matter how you spin it, that is disgusting, disrespectful, and unacceptable.
