Oh, Canada: Provincial Authorities FENCE OFF a Church

Adding insult to injury, there's two layers of fencing, all on the private, church property, and a black tarp shroud overlaying the side of the church. Apparently the good news of Jesus is dangerous, and needs to be squelched.

Are there no good ol' boys with pickups and tow chains in Canada? Pretty sure it wouldn't be a problem to rip that fencing down and drag it away.

Since this is a thread about a church that preaches the Gospel of Christ, and the pastor is a graduate of the Master's Seminary, which has been led for many years by another pastor that I follow, John MacArthur, I do not hesitate to post relevant verses from the Bible.

I do not pound others with my beliefs, that would be rude and unbiblical (see above). but if you ask, I will tell you what I believe and why. in your case, it seems you know already. but at the same time, Christians are called on to tell the world about God's offer of salvation from damnation and eternal hell, not knowing who God has chosen to be in heaven from before the foundation of the universe. God knows His elect, and He will save all of them.

as a long ago preacher put it: there are only two kinds of people in the world: the Saints and the ain'ts. do you know which one you are?

This story is a case where a group of people who won't turn the other cheek need to intervene and do something. Jeep 4x4 club? Bunch of drunk Canadian truck drivers? Those fences need to forcibly come down, and it seems the church membership isn't going to do it.

Jesus rolled the stone away, I don't see why followers of Jesus, or more likely, allies of followers of Jesus, can't roll away (or jerk out and drag) some portable fencing.

This couldn't be any better of a case to make a point. Say a group of anonymous truckers converge on the church property, hook up to the fencing, and drag it off. What is the province willing to do to escalate things? Will they send in hundreds of state police? Mobilize the National Guard? Exactly how far will they take it to keep parishioners away from their church?

This could easily be a major David vs. Goliath story, and I really wish folks up there would push that issue. It's the only way this bullshit Wu flu nonsense will stop, when the people say enough is enough.

Canada doesn't have State Police.

Alberta is policed by the RCMP, that is, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. I'm pretty sure that my Jeep could outrun an officer on a horse.

The only exceptions are if the govt prohibits you from doing what God commands you to to, or if they require you to do something that God prohibits you to do.

When you were little, maybe you remember a kid getting picked on, until the kid's older brother intervened, and then the abuse stopped?

This church needs an older brother willing to step into the breach.
