Evidently so are wheels on wide body C7s. After cracking a rear OEM wheel I bought some after market wheels so I would have to deal with more wheels cracking. So now after a year and 12,000 miles on the aftermarket wheels I have three bent wheels.

They didn't crack at least...

Maybe switch diameter of rim and tire size?

Couple guys I know in the snow belt aka shitty road areas run lo pro tires and just keep extra rims as they bend or break one every year. Cost of wanting the look they said.
Sent pics of one rim, bent like he hit a manhole missing the cover. Also he destroyed tires regularly so new tires and rims were always happening. Road hazard covered alot of the tire costs.
