I played baseball in the Houston hardball league for many years. We got a new player who was a great catcher, and I always wanted him to catch me when I pitched. Great guy, but had a temper, not too bad but it was there. I got along with him great.

He was having some marriage problems, found out his wife was having dinner with a friend of theirs (male), and waited in the parking lot for them to come out. He confronted both of them, punched the guy in the face, he fell back and hit his head on the concrete....died that night. What he didn't know at the time was that the wife was confiding to the friend about wanting to save their marriage and wanted his advice.

I think he served 10 years for manslaughter, and came back to play in our league. Tragic story, was all in the Houston news at the time.

I've known a few due to early life circumstances. (long story I'm not talking about but I was never involved)

The one that surprised me the most was a guy that was a gentle giant the years that I knew him.

However, one of my best friend’s wife’s brother (cousin I guess) was killed in cold blood by a Mexican gang banger, he was Mexican himself but an upstanding citizen. Took them a couple years to find the mthrfkr but he’s rotting in federal pen in canyon city as I type. POS

I remember a CF member with a C3. (Scott) (C3SharkTank or SharkTankC3) who was a bodyguard as well as a Mercenary. He worked private security in Iraq and killed many. He also got shot one of his tours. He made a shitload of money. Not sure where he is now. I lost contact with him. We used to hang out with him frequently in the early 2000's.
Last I heard was that he bought a nice house with cash as well as a GrandSport C2. Not sure if it was a real one or replica.
Really cool dude. If you met him, you wouldn't think that he is such a badass but according to mutual friends, it was all true. He never allowed anyone to take his picture because of his safety. He said several people wanted to see him dead from his time as a bodyguard.
