Back to back shows tonight. It's a well done series about The Vanderbilts, Carnegie, Rockefeller, etc. Finally the History Channel has some actual history on it.

It's a great show but it's annoying how after every commercial break they waste 2 or 3 minutes recapping what happened before the commercials as if I forgot what I just watched. It seems like a lot of shows are doing this now and it's obviously some network geniuses idea to fill time. Probably the same guy who thought it was a great idea to have the network logo on the corner of the screen for the whole show.

I learned that Abraham Lincoln slept with 3 men, some for many years at a time, and had a "bromance" with at least one of them...

There are some parts of History...id just rather not know about.

Abe was my favorite president...up until that, now im interviewing other presidents for that spot, #1 question on the questionnaire...."Do you now or have you ever sucked dicks Y/N"

It's a good series. Should be required social studies fodder in our public schools. That and the entire episodes of AMC's "Hell On Wheels" a gritty original TV series about the Westward Expansion following the American Civil War.
