Bad things man...Long Island and NJ are a mess...
We haven't heard from my daughter in LI since last night, but, I'm sure they're fine. They have no power, and all phones are probably dead by now. They all slept in the basement. Hopefully I'll have some pics to share after work today.
As far as Atlantic City.....They sound pretty grim, as to what they'll find when they get there.

All good here so far.
I downed a couple sleeping pills last night to make sure I slept through it all.

After a walk outside the shop this morning everything looks in place.
In Toronto last night 1 girl died after being hit by a falling Staples sign.
A few thousand without power and some fallen trees but nothing major other than the death.

It's really not that bad here. I can hear some sleet hitting the window, but nothing to be worried about. We had some wind last night, but not really damaging.

Its as real as every other shot in the movie Day after Tomorrow. Somebody did a screen cap and stuck a TV logo on it.

The vid I posed above is said to be real. The explosion took out power to 300,000. There are several other shots of it on twitter and instagram but that vid is the best shot of the event.

I have power and waiting for the bathroom to get warm to take a shower so all is good here. I am ignoring the small leak coming down the pipe into the light fixture in the bathroom.... what could possibly go wrong?
