A positive to moisture clean up

We currently have multiple machines on the first floor drying out the sub floor and small patches of the hardwood floor that are putting out roughly 90 decibels of noise. While this is really noisy and confining us to the second floor (we're in a hotel at night), it makes it so we can't hear the doorbell ring when political canvassers come by.
