Down here in Floriduh, even though neighbors seem to prefer black, the paint reaches melting point in the direct sun.....

My truck is black on black and takes only 2-3 minutes to cool down after I start it up. You just learn not to do something stupid here in FL like leaving an unopend can of soda in your ride when things heat up.

The factory rockers are a painted surface. These are textured plastic and fit over the factory ones. Will go a long way to prevent rock chips down there.

I usually dislike the plastic bottoms but yeah I agree it will protect and I'm sure they look great Congrats again !
