Lived across the street from a restaurant once. If there was no wind or it was coming out of the East (rare) there was no way you wouldn't smell the place. They did a lot of fried seafood. Smelled great on Friday nights but other than that it had a nasty grease trap smell. No big deal, everything is temporary... Including the vent fires they had every other year

As for pho, no idea what that is. I don't patronize ethnic eateries.
