Well this sucks. Our fat kittie Mick took a turn for the worse and we had to have him euthanized today. My wife is pretty bummed out, to say the least.

Congestive heart failure if you're wondering. Had his lungs drained about five times over the last 24 hours, they would just fill right back up. Poor guy. He will be missed.

Thing was, Eddie was by far the youngest at around 7. Mick was the next youngest at 14. Shady and Ozzy, the two we have left, are 15 and 16 respectively. Shady is definitely not as spry as he used to be and is on medicine for joint pain. The oldest cat Ozzy is just as frisky as ever, he'll outlive them all we are guessing. But when Shady goes my wife is going to be a wreck, that's her baby. Ozzy can be kinda a dick, he's rather autistic too.

but on a positive note, the 4 kittens we pulled out of walls at an apt building....all 4 are doing fine, and the funny part is that the one we named sticky because he was the most traumatized over some damn glue all over his fur, so he was the smallest for a long time, well, no more, he is now the largest of them.....and his fuzz is intact.....

Folks say pets are chosen. I contend the pets have a choice in the decision too. If they don't like where their at, pets will take off.

I get so very close to our pets, that it tears my guts out when we lose them!

Our last Lab went 3 years ago and it's still hurts to think about it.
