I don't embrace any of this shit, I'll go where I want, and not go anywhere I don't want, same with "doing" what I want.

My core group of friends are veterans, retired LEO types, and most are CCW permit holders.

Just be aware of your surroundings, just too many assholes out there.

You'd think half their customers, more or less, would be women, who probably aren't ordering the biggest steaks, so the only way I see to get the check average before tax and tip up that far is for the women to order enough drinks for them to be legally drunk when they leave.

More power to the restaurant to set their own rules, but I think this will backfire on them, and not because they're discriminating against black people

I was at a nice local steakhouse in Houston, Taste of Texas, I can hold my own chowing down, and I didn't even order the biggest steak....and I was literally stuffed when we left. Also, I was with a group of tea totalers. While the prices at the local steakhouse seem to be in line with the one in the story, no way would our group have met the $ 100 per person minimum ordering tea and coffee.

Having said that, maybe the restaurant is just going to be charging $ 100 minimum per diner, no matter what they do or don't order? I guess when you're at that level, who really cares.

Well considering a lot of one well known group are considered lousy tippers and very demanding, that price/dress code should keep most of them out.

I hate being tailgated. I used to handle it by just gradually letting off the gas to slow down, so the person on my butt would just get frustrated and go around. These days, there's so much road rage going on, I usually just change lanes, even if I have to move to the left, just to let the tailgater get past me.

I just want to get where I am going unmolested. The most important thing is not some pissing contest with a random asshole, it's just getting to my desti safely.

I love the douchebags that spend their life in the left lane, flashing their lights from a half mile back. If I'm in the passing lane, I'm actually passing somebody...but when I see that coming up behind me...Lol

As far as the red ram...I was concerned that slo the driver was a little unstable so I didn't want to fk with him....

I drive that stretch of road EVERY SINGLE DAY.

It's funny...in the Cobalt or the Vette, people get on my ass, honk at me, tailgate, etc.

In my Ram, nobody messes with me. Ever. Like...not once.

I wonder why?

Caution: That makes your vehicle a target for thieves, looking specifically to steal guns. They see firearms stickers on your truck, they reasonably assume you've got a 'truck gun' somewhere, under the seat, in the glove box, etc.

Houston has had a problem with this.

Houston police warn gun owners about auto thefts
Police warn that stickers for gun brands and the NRA may attract unwanted attention from thieves.

HOUSTON — Houston police are asking for the public’s help in keeping guns out of the hands of bad guys.

In a video released this week, police say thieves are frequently breaking into cars looking for guns, not laptops or electronics.

Police say the best thing we can do is not leave guns in the car, but we know that’s not always possible at venues where weapons are not allowed, like schools, the rodeo or bars.

Sergeant Hicks with the Houston Police Department’s auto theft crime task force offered these gun theft stats:

2,200 guns were stolen from cars in 2019
2,100 guns were stolen from cars in 2018
2,100 guns were stolen from cars in 2017

And that’s in Houston alone – not the surrounding counties or suburbs.

Hicks says gun owners should have a safe mounted in their vehicle, whether it be in the trunk or under seats. (As a plus, the safe can be used for any valuables - not just guns.)

Another way to avoid getting your vehicle broken into is avoid bumper stickers and window stickers that indicate you are pro-gun.

Hicks says thieves look to specifically target trucks, SUVs and cars that have stickers for the NRA, gun brands and even hunting stickers.

“Having a gun is a great responsibility,” he says. “We need your help keeping them out of the hands of bad guys.”

Throw in a Trump 2024 sticker, and you'll finally get that POS car off your back.

Make sure your insurance is paid up....
