I've posted many a PMs without reprisal. maybe you did something else? Did you:

... say hello to anyone?

...toast anyone?

...quote a friend and "zing" them?

...reply to a thread on-topic and with all seriousness as well as candor?

Most of us got booted for posting in the forgiveness thread. A week prior to getting booted, I got a warning for posting the smiley.
