Default Off to Cozumel
This Monday for a week of scuba. The dive shop told us to get a lot of small bills for the trip. I got $50 in ones and got the evil eye from the female teller.

Why do men have to feel guilty about getting a large amount of one and five dollar bills prior to a weekend ? It’s sex discrimination I tell ya !

I stopped there on a cruise in '77. There was not a building on the island taller than three stories then. I suspect that's no longer true.


That will be a beautiful place to dive. You can see the bottom 50 feet down there.

Just got back. For Scuba, Cozumel is amazing. The water clarity is off the charts. Here are some videos of underwater varmits. Firsts- largest eel, crab and lobster I’ve ever seen. At night, octopus everywhere. F’n awesome dives.

Awesome videos. That shark duo would have froze my in a defensive position on the bottom for a bit. They are so majestic as they prowl the bottom.

Those were Nurse sharks. I call them the Golden Retrievers of sharks. Totally docile.

I been too the islands twice.....and yes the water is super clear, snorkeling off a sailboat in VERY deep water....jumped off board, and looked down and there was this fish in the shadow of the boat.....it had a Chrysler pentastar on it's tail.....nuff said.....
