What is the strangest or most obnoxious religion?

After the recent thread about people digging tunnels under their temple it got me to thinking this question. From my viewpoint, many of the world’s religions are just flat out tough to comprehend.

Of course there is Islam, a violent cult of control and death, a barbaric belief system which has not progressed beyond the stone ages. Unfortunately with muslims breeding like rats and taking over any area they assume a majority population in, I foresee the world in a century or two with much less people, and all those left will be praying five times a day.

Next is the Jewish faith, where the more modernized reformed members appear to be fairly normal in their beliefs and behavior. Now the more orthodox ones are just weird, with the beards, black clothing and strange hats. They seem to have a way about them which has generated contempt and rejection for centuries. What kind of people circumcise a baby boy and suck his dick while doing so?

Christianity is more palatable as long as they don’t take it too far. That church where they handle poisonous snakes is Christian I believe, and that shit is just crazy. I also find it humorous when I see a debate between two people where one of them (probably a fundie) throws out some scripture to make a point as if it is the immutable truth. Talk about a good way to lose an argument while thinking you’ve won.

I think there is something to prayer healing but it might just be in that persons head. Happy, healing thoughts help your body heal faster. Forgoing medical treatment for prayer though is not a wise move. I’ve seen many times people telling their family that if they would’ve prayed harder, this bad thing wouldn’t have happened. It’s like, dude, your kid just had a massive stroke, I don’t think prayer would’ve stopped that.
