It’s getting a little ridiculous everywhere in the valley with the home pricing. Especially Porter Ranch.

I actually had an employee just purchase in Bakersfield. Since we’re going full time from home - even affer the covid restrictions are lifted - she’ll only have to commute to the office in Mission Hills once a month. She got a nice house for a good price.

To those that want to know what a “good price” is...she was able to pick something up for around 400k that actually got her over 2,000 sq ft and was not a sh*t hole. Half a mil just doesn’t go far here.

it'll be interesting to see the longer term effects of this mess. will lots of peeps work from home full time? will office space go vacant, and make the landlords go broke? will high paid types abandon pricey cities and move to the country?
