When we built our house, the address was way off and delivery people had a hell of a time finding it.
Didn't help that a custom home builder had a pin at our house, and they weren't the ones we had build it.

I submitted the change to google and it took a few weeks to update.

FWIW, from my experience, GIS, Google, Bing, etc use the same database info.
Little chance that you reporting it as a private road will fix the issue, IMO.
I'd guessmthatntherenwasna platted road that was never built, and it is in the database.
Worth a shot though.

None of the 1,800 residences in my surrounding subdivisions were on goggle maps about four years ago; not sure why as the neighborhood was built in 1997.
Was one helluva problem when ordering from any retailer on line.
It took me about five emails, the fifth one did it, still waiting for my thanks.

I'd like to know your tricks. I live on a private road and GM always directs people to a driveway that connects with my neighbors driveway, all with locked gates. To get to the real start of our named (but gated) private road is about a 15 minute drive. Apple maps gets it right. I've reported it several times and even driven to the wrong location and reported unsatisfactory directions.

The upside is millennials and idiots can't find me because they can't read a map.
