Default Just had 2 gentlemen in from the Army.
They are from the RCAC Royal Canadian Armoured Corps.

They came in with 2 pictures to get done of our fallen soldiers.
1 of the guys that was here was missing his legs and was walking on some fancy looking spring prosthetics. He was part of an armoured group that was struck by an IED in Afghanistan.

He didn't come in showing them to me but he was walking a little funny and I asked him if he wanted to sit down. He said no, he was breaking in his new legs(with a smile) and showed me.

Anyway I priced out the work for them which came out to a few hundred dollars.
As they got in their car I walked back over and asked him for the quote back and changed all the figures to zero's.
I figured it was time someone did something for them.

Just wanted to share and I will post pics once they get permission from higher up to do them.

A very kind thing to do for them, particularly what they're having done.
My Sister in law was over in Kabul leading a search team for IEDs. The stories some of these folks come back with are pretty incredible.
Thanks to our brothers from the North for their help.

They are larger oversize pieces.
Somewhere in the neighbourhood of $300 as the quote I gave them in the beginning was pretty close to my cost.
