Eastern Colorado sucks. I lived in Lamar for a year. No need or desire to go back. Ever.

It's really unfortunate because it isn't the dogs fault. Yes, there are alpha dogs out there, but this kind of aggressive behavior is most definitely taught. The owner supposedly has anxiety disorder and the service animal "assists her with that condition" said her doctor, which is total horseshit. For the most part bad dogs are a result of breeding and training, not natural selection, IMO. People are the problem, first and foremost. Making an example out of owners would go a long way towards solving this problem, again, IMO.

I like the breed. They are very athletic and great companions, guard dogs, etc., (when properly bred and trained).

I've camped in RMNP. It is beautiful. So is the Texas Hill Country. Green with beautiful vistas. It's where I'll retire to.

I’m actually not a Texan. And it really doesn’t matter to me whether people like the place or not. Texas, like the other 49 states, isn't for everyone. My problem is when people who really don’t know dick about this state make uninformed remarks based on "driving through here twice". If I said all people in Colorado are dopers and pot heads and don’t do shit because they’re loaded all the time, would that be fair? Would that work for you? Being a Coloradoan, I’d hope not, because it would be a pretty ****ing stupid thing for me to say, wouldn’t you agree?

My daughter has two. They are the sweetest most loving dogs on the planet and wouldn't hurt a hair on anyone's head. They come over and play with my dog (who is not an alpha) and they all have a great time.

We lucked out as we were in a pretty new development in PWC off of the relatively new parkway. The older sections of NoVA were hammered.
