Default Anyone have experience with these attachments?

Looks like they might get the job done

For my application, I think it would cost about $80.00, but here's a video with an example:

Meh. Use a mower with worn blades and create the same effect with stickups.

Couldn't you just adjust the deck height?

I misread, I though it said stripping as in clean the damn grass/weeds down to the sub soil......then re sod.....

all anyone does is lay fresh sod over the old weeds/bare dirt and get nothing the next year.....waste of money.....

can't grow grass in Florida.....

No, not really... These weighted rollers create the baseball field rows.

Right now, all I get are the tracks from the wheels of the mower.

Stripes are caused by the direction the mower goes. Light stripe: mower was going away from your position.
Dark Stripe: Mower was going towards your position.

I cut a 4x4 block of wood, 20" long, and ran a line through the rubber flap on the back of the mower deck, tying the 4x4 to the back of the flap.

This created enough weight to "bend" the grass as the attachment might. Guy stopped while driving past, said my lawn looked like a ball field. I guess the scrap wood worked

Update: Scrap wood, worked for about 3 mod, then I had to replace. It would have been much easier with the wheeled attachment, as the 4x4 sat in place while I tried to go backwards. Still, pleased with the results of the lawn. Your results may vary.
