I don't think the expression is, "Drive it 'til the frame falls off."

Did you get it fixed?

I love those old pickups. I'm always on the lookout for a 56 big window to match my Belair.

Nope, just had t hauled away for free.

Due to the salt on the roads up here the frame was so rusted I doubted is was fixable with welding. Maybe drill and bolt plates to both sides of the beam but even that seemed like a lot of trouble for a truck I only paid $300 for.

I got my moneys worth It had 3 on the tree.

Tacoma IIRC.

Tundra's had tailgates breaking off under load and other issues.
