After watching the video, that's easily believable.

One thing that's good, there was a medical tent set up at the finish line. Probably took minor injuries there and let ambulances take care of the worst injuries first. My wife has worked these tents at Iron Man Triathalons before, and she says they have pretty good Triage and medical capabilities on the scene. Probably saved a few lives.

It could be that the medical facilities on the scene actually kept some people from arriving at the hospital for a while and being counted among the injured.

FoxNews, fking it up again...

Twisting Boston Police Commissioner Davis' words. Clearly speaking about bomb squad clearing the scene says "They may be blowing things up over the next couple hours", obviously meaning controlled detonations of suspicious items.

Fox anchor says "Well, he says "they" will be blowing things up over the next couple hours, we don't know who "they" is..."

Near as I can tell, this is how things stand...

Two bombs exploded at Marathon finishline. Two more explosive devices on Boylston St. (finishline scene) were dismantled by authorities. There was an unrelated fire/explosion at JFK library.

Over 100 injured.

At least 2 dead. *I* expect that number to rise, significantly. NY Post still reporting 12 dead.

No suspect in custody, per Boston Police Commissioner Davis. NY Post still reporting Saudi National suspect in custody. Fox still reporting "person of interest" admitted to hospital with severe burns.
