For what it's worth, I really didn't help set anything up. The hard work was done by Gary and Tom. I volunteered to be an Admin here to help out at the beginning and I did take an active role in that area. When I decided to take a hiatus from online stuff for almost a year and a half, I resigned as Admin. Around six months later and unbeknownst to me, a few parties got into some sort of an online pissing match and I was somehow dragged through it. I don't know all the details and I wouldn't repeat them if I did, so please don't ask. But the upshot was that I haven't communicated with Tom in a very long time. Gary and I were always very cordial, but I haven't heard from him either.

Remember that this site was started as basically a "fuck you" to the "Einsatzgruppen" over at Corvette Forum. But that was a decade ago and all that isn't really very important anymore. It's possible that both Tom and Gary's situations have changed in such a way that they are no longer interested in, or have the time to be involved with this site any longer.

From what I can tell, the majority of visits on this forum are web crawlers/bots. There is a core group that posts here regularly, but if it were me, the amount of people who post here wouldn't justify keeping a site going. That's just my opinion.

I think that before we fill four-plus pages speculating on the how, why and what surrounding the Barn and its future, we should wait to hear from Gary or Tom or perhaps one of the Mods might get in touch with them if possible for some clarification. At that time...and if it's necessary/appropriate...some folks who might be interested in offering an alternative plan can do so.
