Me: So what's your opinion of these gays that dress up in the flamboyant outfits and make out in pride parades?

Him: Not following.

Me: Do you condone this? What do you think when you see it?

Him: That's not how I behave but I get it.

Me: Please explain.

Him: For many years we were forced to stay in the closet due to public scorn. This is our opportunity to cut loose without having to get our heads bashed in.

Me: Why don't you do this?

Him: What makes you think I haven't?

Me: HAVE you?

Him: No.

Me: Why not?

Him: Because it's not my nature to behave like that. I get it but it's not how *I* approach things. Do you think we'd have gotten any attention if we hadn't taken drastic measures like the flamboyant outfits and public affection? It raises awareness BECAUSE it's so over the top. That's a lot of what you're seeing when you see this.

Me: Interesting. Do you think these tactics are warranted these days?

Him: Some of us do. There's still a lot of prejudice out there Thomas. You're not exposed to it so you wouldn't know.

Me: Example?

He went on to tell me about a guy who made nasty comments about his adopted son at hockey practice recently. Some fucking redneck hillbilly who pretty much dismissed him, his partner AND his son because he and his partner were gay.

Anyway, it should come as no surprise to anyone here that while I'm not gay, I support them 100%.

Yes I did choose my actions and orientation. My parents taught me about my actions, taught me about nature, taught me about my orientation, I was born with girl parts therefore I am a female and CHOOSE to be one! I Choose to be normal and only have a relationship with someone of the opposite sex if it comes to having a mate. If I don't want to mate I stay single and don't "go to bat for the other team"!

Too many people are not doing there jobs and letting the TV, internet, and social media teach and influence their kids. They don't want to deal with uncomfortable conversations, so they let their kids do and be what they want - Even if it means going against human nature. Add with the messed up hormones being added to our foods and you have people thinking it's OK to CHANGE their body parts "cuz I FEEL I want to be the opposite sex."
