Obamacare is a government takeover - 10 reasons

Instead of a hospital, one may as well go to an IRS building to have a heart attack.

The level of care received at either facility will soon be exactly the same.

Repeal it!

It's a tough call ... with only one common denominator ... *Go Home and Die* even after paying your Helath Plan premiums for decades because you lied about being in good health because at birth your physician didn't cut your embelical cord correct-to-length so you have an extruding belly-button so this was a pre-existing condition ...

Where are the facts to suport that paying premiums for decades and then denied care? Mine worked just fine this summer when I needed it for the first time in my adult lifetime, if not I would have had to spend my Self Employed Pension Fund to cover it, but my insurance worked just fine, but then I decided I needed insurance not the Govt

.........In the Senate, the Finance Committee’s health care bill was amended to nullify the possibility of jail time for not paying the penalty tax. It stipulates that in the case of nonpayment, "such taxpayer shall not be subject to any criminal prosecution or penalty with respect to such failure." Instead, the Senate measure would allow the government to collect the tax by deducting it from any IRS tax-refund checks or other government payments. Should the full Senate approve that language, a House-Senate conference committee would have to wrestle with the question of whether or not a person who refuses to obtain coverage and refuses to pay the penalty can be charged with criminal tax evasion.

it would be interesting to compare the differences of those to the BusinessWeek numbers.

If there were 7.8 million US millionaires in 2009, and only 315,000 left in 2010, this country would be in MUCH worse shape then what it's currently in.

But, some are naive enough to actually think that would be a desirable thing.

The clearly-titled article suggests that anyone denying that the majority of the US are against this health care legislation, tends to blame Fox for misinforming it's many viewers.

There's been a lot of exactly that posted here too...."Oh, you think that way because you watch Fox". You're guilty of it too.

So, this article seems to be written TO people like you, suggesting that you may wish to look for a better excuse as to why John Q. Public doesn't want this health care.

I don't want it, and I don't watch Fox.

Actually I believe it was breitbart who broke the Mao ornament story ... so it would be an easy jump as to how Faux was all over it first and then as national fervancy ... (assuming the Tea Party Hitler/Stalin/Mao billboards and signs were also connected to Faux ... )

Thus, it would be an easy jump that y2k's article about Faux (not) bashing Obamacare is somewhat ... how should I say it ? ... oh, Faux ...
