On a Happier note; we just received word yesterday, the Judge sided with my Mother in-law, on her Lawsuit against Aetna. It’s a really long story, but basically they forced her to leave the hospital earlier than she should have, and thus caused her extensive suffering and pain. We had to go through four lawyers and over five years of ridiculous litigation, but finally justice prevailed. We were told, time and time again, that we would not be successful in our Lawsuit, but thanks to my Wife and sister in-law, they push on at made a compelling case.

If I’ve learned anything from this experience, please stay as healthy as possible and thank God every day if you’re healthy. But if you do get sick and need help, the Health Insurance Company and or Health Care System, are the last people on this planet who care about your health. Once thing the majority of us can count on is that sooner or later, your health will deteriorate and hopefully family and or friend will be at your side in a time of need.

My mother had the exact opposite with Aetna when she was sick, so I can see that their are exceptions on care. I think the doctors could have fought harder, they did in my mothers case, but I do not know the back ground and that is not the point of this thread. Govt controlled HC will be a failure like it is in Europe and Canada, but then our Govt has run a profit and good business models at the U.S. Post Office and Amtrack.

The Reps kept crap and tax from passing in the Senate and Americans forced the libs to keep the tax law current. With only 53% of Americans paying taxes it seems to me that 47% are already just on the Govt roles, enough freebies already are dished out to those wanting something for nothing.

Yes they are doing tougher emissions and mileage rules, but no caps or taxes. Like the president cares what congress or Americans want, he after all knows what is best and no one is to think other wise
