Cat is getting euthanized today. He walks around yowling and won't eat. Drinks water but pukes it back up. He's been on his last legs for a while now. Wife raised him from a day old maggot. He travelled with us in a box to buy my first Corvette in Spokane. He's 19 now. For about the past month, he'd only eat canned dog food. Won't touch any kind of cat food. He's had a good life, but I don't think he's enjoying it anymore.

We're thinking about an October trip. I'm not sure if we want to go if it's got Safari crowds.

We have a 21 yr old that appears to be able to outlive us. Howls 4 times a day like she’s in heat. Thankfully it’s only when she’s awake, or hungry.

Still functions and can get up/down stairs for the litter box but her days are numbered.

Do what’s right, sorry you have to go through this, we aren’t far behind you.

His litter box is in the laundry room and he gets back and forth through a cat door. This morning I found him trapped in the laundry room. He couldn't get up the steps through the cat door. He's also occasionally missing the litter box. I've found a puddle or two and a few turds on the floor.

My guess is the cancellation of the Safari, and lots of kids out of school, has allowed people to travel here. All hotels are full. All RV lots are full. The parking lots along the highway north of town are full. It's impossible to get into a restaurant unless you call ahead and they take reservations. Dunno if that will change in the next few weeks, but I'm doubting it.

The weather's nice though, so there's that.
