Default Parenting done *kinda* right...
So my 15 year old has a pool party at our house for his birthday. We had about 15 teenagers in our backyard for the whole day. I let him handle the invites from start to finish.

Proud Moment #1 - He invited girls over boys at a 1.5:1 ratio.

He takes a liking to one of the girls. She is cute, blonde, a little too skinny, but seems nice and polite. I met her mom when she picked her up and the gene pool is strong in that family. He has been FaceTiming her daily at her request and I think my son may have his first girlfriend relationship starting.

So today I am asking if they chatted last night and told him I approved of his choice. His younger 10 year old brother chimes in, "Somebody needs to give that girl a sammich...."

Thus Proud Moment #2.
