Fill in the blank word game

A thread from snide gave me an idea: how about making a story out of several blanks.

How to play: A sentence will be posted with a missing word. The next person puts whatever word they want in the blank to complete the sentence and then they leave a "Fill in the blank" sentence for the next poster to complete. The number of blanks you put is up to you, but try and leave at least one or two.

Example:
"Sea Six went to the beach to get some fish, but came back with _____"

then enter a word for the blank such as "weed".

The same person continues the sentence by adding their sentence with a blank to fill in. EX: Sea Six went to the beach to get some fish, but came back with weed. Sea Six was so disappointed in the quality of the weed, that he exchanged it for _____
