I bet sadman had tons of valuable things buried and hidden all over iraq, most yet to be found.
Like most dictators, they have way more valuable things than they could ever allow their people to know about, so it stays hidden, sometimes buried.

mubarak's family was worth $70+B, arafat was worth over $2B, they all hide it somewhere, mostly in swiss banks.

trick IS, they can't take it with them......

SO for us to find his notes when he kicks, and then dig up the bux......


AND the family may well 'inherit' the fortune.......so to find it through them over the years.....

I bet the deserts in the Middle East would be a literal gold mine for ground imaging radar. Too bad there's no metal detector for actual gold like that. Of course, if you found a cache of that, getting any significant quantity out of the country would be....challenging. I mean, these guys tried it and failed:

Not an expert, but from what I understand, if you want to hunt Gold or Silver, you can get a detector that looks for "conductivity". Both metals are highly conductive.
