Of course he was trying to bury the QB. That's what defensive guys do and get paid for. Offensive guys know it. Wentz shouldn't have run. He should have thrown it. He caused his own injury.

Obviously a ruling that drastic has to start at the beginning of the season but it was still a shitty move by a known dirty player. It would also cause the teams themselves to self police their players.

And yes, if the eagles got to play next week, they would still have a shitty QB or a dain bramaged one from the hit and most likely would still lose.
