I’m a professional, I’ll be the judge of necessity of board shorts. I’m suspicious that a small grape leaf may suffice. Those that claim the biggest are usually itty bitty teensy weensy.

Yes! We have not had regular Local TV much. Has been weather coverage about 89% of the time. Phone blowing up constantly with alerts.

Actually had a patient come in for anxiety attacks and they said they think it is due to all the weather alerts. I gave em some strong hydroxyzine (glorified prescription Benadryl, knocks you out!

Mulched the beds around the pool and moved a few plants and bought more and planted them. Off to a 30 year LEO party tonight. The old cops are not as much fun as the young ones. When they get promoted to higher ranks they behave.

We are 7 miles inland at pretty good elevation for this county. (14 feet ) Would have to be a monster storm to evacuate. We shutter up, put 2 cars in the garage, (Now that we only have 1 Vette we can put a daily driver in there) and the others in a public parking garage where the local PD puts their vehicles to ride out the storm. Luckily we have only had to do it twice in the 19 years we have lived in this house.

Grilled bunch of chicken, had a nice lunch then lay around the house some out of the heat. Not motivated at all today myself.
If I had a pool I'd be stupid drunk, sunburnt and asleep on a floaty today. Probably a good thing I no longer have one.
