This Feb was the warmest on record for DFW. Looking forward to some nice cool rain. This Summer is gonna be brutal!

It started after about two hours on the charger......so I took it for a short drive. You KNOW it's cold out when the temp gauge doesn't move off the cold mark after running for 15 minutes!

Our Feb was pretty mild as well.....March so far has been frigid! Tonight they're calling for -32C with the wind factor......that's about the same on your F scale! (-25F) yikes!

install trim on bath storage cabinet (surrounds the tile top, creates a space for grout to go later).

get mulch for Mrs. DAB's garden beds (3 bags of Cedar mulch)

get one load of water

maybe stop by gun shop.

maybe wash truck

maybe watch some racing.

read more later.

well.... cabinet trim will have to wait a day. had one piece of lumber all painted up, thought it was long enough for the front and side....nope, didn't double check the length, only long enough for the front. so cut another piece for the side, have a coat of primer drying now. will try to get 2 more coats of paint onto it later today so i can final cut it and install them tomorrow.

It's snowing here. Very unusual at the level where I live, which is about 1,350 ft. It's not cold enough for it to stick to the ground, but fun to watch it fall. The dogs don't know what to make of it.

I used to make cowboy coffee at the lake or camping.....just boil the crap out of the grounds in a pot of water, and try not to ingest the grounds when you drink it. The old man said it would put hair on my chest....he was right!
Not as frosty out there this morning, time to get out and get some Vitamin D and some fresh air. Check on the old cars in the garage.....

well fart.

we got one another some nice Christmas gifts last year. Mrs. DAB got a new MacBook Pro to replace her 7 year old white MacBook, and I ordered a new Beretta pistol from Wilson Combat.

the MacBook arrived just in time for Christmas day, and I learned today that it is quite likely that my pistol will arrive sometime late this year.

bummer.

i did see a somewhat similar pistol at the gun shop this weekend.....so do i buy that one and use it until the other one arrives, or just keep shooting my 1988 vintage pistol (same basic model).
