Parking garage owner takes a new C6 for a cruise over an extended period of time. Even hauled lumber in it. Was a rental that was set up with GPS by the news camera crew. They filmed him and confronted him, he denied all.

It's one of those things where you'd like to see the 6'7" bodybuilder owner come back early and catch him, and beat him to a pulp in front of his wife and friends.

I left my 95 coupe at the LAX Park place for 2-1/2 weeks once went I was travelling for work somewhere. It is one of those places where you give them the keys so they can park the cars real close and you don't have to worry about some idiot dinging your door. I don't think they drove it, but one of the lot guys was hanging out in it listening to the radio I think, because I found a giant sharpie wedged between the seat and the console- you know, the kind taggers use.

at least they didn't leave the radio station on one of the spanish ones.

(I did check miles there on other occasions- never any extra).

I looked at the video 2 more times and I think this was staged. The guy actually looks at the camera. I know the C6 has more space, but when I had my 92 Vert we went on a cruise and could not take the Vette. We packed light and all bags didnt fit there and took the RAV4.

TV and radio do stuff like this to get ratings. Friz, Do you remember when Mark and Brian staged a guy to confess a crime back in the early 90s? I looked on You Tube and found nothing.

It's ABC news, but that wouldn't be the first time a major network staged something like this for ratings. Entirely possible.

I say the owners deserves to be atken for ride for leaving the keys with a total stranger. My DD is technically a soon to blow up car with 215,000 miles and I would not leave my DD's keys with nobody.

I think some of the shots of the inside of the car were filmed by the news station before they parked the car just to have interesting footage to put into the story. I don't know about the sky shots.

maybe any publicity is good...or maybe that guy wants to trash his business to sell it or file for bankruptcy or something.
