Thanks to Larry and Ben for showing up. Great drive, multiple weather with temperatures from low 50s to 98°F.

I will wait for Larry to explain about "Coffee Boy". It would not be fair for me to steal his Corvette 3 seconds of fame.

Got about 3 hours of footage. Will edit and make a 10 minute clip.

I would have liked to have made the run, but I came up on a deal to buy LS7 exhaust for my LS3, and also finished putting another set of pipes on my 91...not to mention I went to AZ last weekend.

Needless to say I had no gas money left.

About how many miles did the whole route take?

I drove 748 miles (home-home). The run from Ventura to Hearst Castle is 208 miles and that gave me 18.6 average MPG.

Were suppose to get 3 to 5 inches of snow today..Im starting to see how our furry little friiend up north feels most of the year........WW

Actually I looked at him with a weird look and a smart ass smile on my face. That is the stupidiest thing anyone ever said to a C4. I may put that animation on the C4 stupid thread.

Thanks, Jim. I am only glad it happened after I had finished my coffee, otherwise there would have been a fine coffee spray all over the cars.

Thanks, Pete, for a very organized and well thought out run. It was a lot of fun with a great combination of twisty-turneys and scenery. It was a great day. I also found out how much faster, how much better your car handled, and how much faster your brakes worked after the modications.

The only regret I had on the run was the food at that little hole in the wall was so good I ate everything on the plate. Then the lady came out and asked if we wanted a piece of fresh baked apple pie just from the oven. Yes, I would, if I had the room.
