Found, yes..... purchased, no. I'm moving my parents up here from Phoenix in a house I bought down the street. I'm finishing the renovations now, if I have any disposable funds left over, I'll buy a Vette this Summer. Going to be another C3 though, 69 - 73.
My goal; The goal is to get an all in finished car for a weekend driver/show car. My joints are getting too bad to be wrenching these things any more and I'm not ready for a C6 or C7 yet, still want to be old school. Last edited by Taurus; 03-14-2013 at 11:35pm. |

I hear ya. If this Mach 1 has taught me nothing else, it has been a reality jolt about my physical abilities. What was easy 10 years ago now hurts like hell the next day. This car will be the last one I restore. If I buy another classic, it will be finished.

Pete I heard sat. mail would end in August, IF congress allows it. In other words like you said, nothing is going to happen.

There is absolutely nothing that the post office can do that the private sector can't do better or cheaper. Time to privatize it and send it out for bid.....get rid of this obsolete money sinkhole.

I rarely get anything from snail mail besides packages, and those are usually mid week. My mother would miss it but she's 85 and never went digital.

Sweet's next door neighbor
A Canadian woman advertised a yard sale on Craigslist to sell her 'cheating' husband's things while
he was away with his 'floozie'... WGN Radio is this justified OR just wrong? |

At the end of the tax year, the IRS office sent an inspector
to audit the books of a local hospital. While the IRS agent was checking the books, he turned to the CFO of the hospital and said, "I notice you buy a lot of bandages. What do you do with the end of the roll when there's too little left to be of any use?" "Good question," noted the CFO. "We save them up and send them back to the bandage company, and every once in a while, they send us a free roll." "Oh," replied the auditor, somewhat disappointed that his unusual question had a practical answer. But on he went, in his obnoxious way. "What about all these plaster purchases? What do you do with what's left over after setting a cast on a patient?" "Ah, yes," replied the CFO, realizing that the inspector was trying to trap him with an unanswerable question. "We save it and send it back to the manufacturer, and every so often they will send us a free bag of plaster." "I see," replied the auditor, thinking hard about how he could fluster the know-it-all CFO. "Well," he went on, "What do you do with all the remains from the circumcision surgeries?" "Here, too, we do not waste," answered the CFO. "What we do is save all the little foreskins and send them to the IRS office, and about once a year they send us a complete prick." |
