You can take 52 out of Mnt Airy if traffic stopped, I wouldn't if bad weather as it's more than dicey.
When I 40 was closed last time traffic was stop n roll from Wytheville to NC, we used 52 and avoided 99% of it.
Do you go up to Charleston and take 79 think it is? Aka run the turnpike?
If yes get a WV ezpass, 25 bucks a year (plus ezpass cost) and unlimited useage on the turnpike. Can switch between cars online I believe.

We were considering the 52 route coming back but was unsure if it took us through every small town doing 45 mph. Of course moving is much better than sitting.

We go up 77 and catch Hwy 19 outside of Beckley using the toles, then to 79 in to Morgantown. He caught a ride with his roommate who lives in Summersville so it was a little closer. I need to get an E-Z Pass for the cars but like you said it's for a specific car and can't be exchanged. I've been driving different cars to keep the mileage down in any one so I'd need 3. Might stick to the Lexus though...

It can be switched between vehicles online. As long as same class.
It used to be less than 2 bucks a station... 12.75 one way now haven't checked to see if they're raising the rates Jan 1st. Some toll stops can be a 15 to 20 minute wait.

Going up 25 cents a stop Jan 1st. I saw they have gone to rolling tolls now to keep things moving and get a bill in the mail? Did you have to stop and pay at each stop?
They'll also be taking CC /DEBIT finally also in December. About damn time

Yep, stopped and paid for the first toll going up which is $4.25 then the second toll is $.75 with the coin toss.

I can go take a photo if you want. You won't see anything unless you look for it. The flat muscular shape has loss the outer edge muscle, so center area is a little higher dome shaped. The difference in shape can increase as you age.

Some guys have large moobs. I could go find a photo of one of them if you would like.
