chronic deadbeats like this? You may remember Angel Yulee Adams, the Florida woman who became infamous after appearing on the news claiming that “Somebody,” needs to take responsibility for all of her 15 children, and all of her suffering. Somebody needs to pay!:

Adams believes that her “suffering” began when one of the three fathers of her children was sent to prison on cocaine charges. She was then facing the prospect of eviction for not paying rent.

Well, somebody did in fact pay, and it turned out to be the American taxpayer. State services stepped in to give Adams a rent-free home, furniture, clothing, and food for herself and her 15 kids. (Since the controversy began, Adams has had an additional child, so her tally is now at 16 children.) She has has cost local agencies and taxpayers thousands upon thousands of dollars, and she seems completely oblivious to the notion of personal responsibility.

Appearing at a Courtroom filled with people who had tried to help and provide aid to the family that doesn’t seem to stop growing, Adams was scolded by Hillsborough Circuit Judge Tracy Sheehan.

“A lot of people have gone way extra miles for you,” Sheehan said. “Do you understand that?”

Angel Adams only responded with a, “No comment, Your Honor,” while looking away from the judge.

Some, like Adams, have it in their head that they are entitled to more and more just because they are able to procreate. What is the solution to this?

when you don't have to pay for your own actions, and let others pay for them, you are likely to make expensive, bad decisions as there is no cost to you.

can't afford to raise a family? then don't get preggers. and don't get others preggers either.

remarkably, the same idea applies to healthcare. when you have to pay for your own care, and you take gov't and employers out of the equation, you will see real market based policies, and people will make decisions with their own health and financial interests in mind.

while you can't, what one can do is not force their misfortune onto others. Personal Responsibilility is no longer "personal" once money is forced out of my paycheck to cover others irresponsibility.

It was easy to legislate in 1965 when we had a average Single mother household rate of <5% nation wide. Now that we have that rate at nearly 40% and 72% of Blacks in that group we are stuck with it.

This women is a result of the failure of the American people to realize that when you ask the government to do things for the people the government always makes the problems worse because it's not in thier best interest to fix the problem.

We spend 1 trillion each year on means tested welfare. That's more than 22K per person ( 45 Million) who live below the poverty line. Does anyone think the 22K is actually going to that person and not being sucked up by the government and it's cronies?

If you are on the public dole, then sterilization or mandatory birth control implants should be the law. I'm damn tired of having half my F'n paycheck stripped from me so pieces of shit like her can do what they do. Too bad we can't deport the lot of them....

Want kids? Fine. Unca Bubba picks up number one. The rest you decide to have are on your dime. No additional benefits paid for more kids. None, nada, zip, zilch. Once the addition of mouths to the household no longer swells the EBT account this will probably rectify itself in large part.
