Wimp was not the word that the girls used to describe me. I wasn't much of a student in high school. A hell of a runner though- 1/4 miler. My high school job was moving furniture and driving the truck- made nearly three times minimum wage. Split wood often at my grandfather's cabin, and was almost always outside. So I was lean and buff, with long, wavy reddish brown hair.

I knew a lot of cute girls in high school, and some of them liked me. But I was picky, and of course, every bit a gentleman.

That's the first thing I was looking for too, but they hadn't invented that term yet.

Great music, legal drinking age was 18 and a lot of places realy did not check "proof" that close, the PILL had just came out and that made close encounters of the best kind much easier to set up. Oh cannot forget the muscle car era and great street and strip racing. What a era surprised I lived through it.
