I bend there many times too!
That was one advantage to growing up in the Dayton area. I think one of the neatest things there when I was a kid my first trip there, was peering inside of a Mercury space capsule, and having day dreams of taking a ride in one someday.. |

Maybe Boracay Johnny will chime in too, but there is a saying in the Air Force about the type ejection seat you are sitting in made by Martin-Baker. As follows, "Meet your maker in a Martin-Baker". They didn't always work quite as advertised. B-52's still run them as far as I know. Slow to ride the rails, and well, would get ya killed. The new ACES2 seats will save your ass, no pun intended. Unless circumstances are crazy, they can keep you alive at 0 speed and 0 altitude.
