I TRIED watching the first episode of the new season last night. It was awful. Same old crap. They would attempt some joke, camera would go in for a closeup and the actor would have big eyes and some kind of frozen expression on their face. I'm surprised it has lasted these years.

I still enjoy SNL. It has many real clunkers, but there is enough every now and then to keep me watching.

I mostly watch for the Weekend Update.
