I've been to Nazare, Portugal a place on the planet where you can see 100' waves! Surfers travel the globe to ride the waves. There's a deep "V" in the ground under the water, decreasing to a point at the beach.

Shame we had bad weather the day we visited, raining and windy but no big waves....

Watersports FTW!

Before ticker-flicker caught up with me and finished it , my first love was windsurfing on England's south coast, where the Channel is warmed by the Gulf Stream, and the prevailing southwesterlies are ideal in direction - 45 degrees onshore.

They are both amazing sports.



Just makes you grin from ear to ear...
