Default Google Maps Blows Dead Bears
I don't normally use Google Maps for routing on my phone because a) I know my way around my home area, and b) my car has a nav system built in. However, here in Louisville I need a nav system badly and of course the rental car doesn't have one, so I've been using Google Maps a lot.

Google Maps is an unbelievable piece of shit! The routes it chooses are inefficient and seem to maximize the use of narrow residential and rural streets. It also gets the street names wrong at least 30% of the time. On the way home just now it used the same (incorrect) street name 4 turns in a row,

How can anything be so borked for so long?

computers are dumb. garbage in gargabe out. your seatings are wrong. I use googley mapts a lot and it works great for me.

Yup, but I like the notifications. I agree something sounds wonky with settings in dvarapala’s unit. I once had issues and discovered I had it. Set to avoid major roads/interstates.

By the way, Apple Maps are the suck.

oh, pee ess. I just opened my gookley maps and there is now a notification button it be a small circle with an add sign in the middle. an dnow thinkin bout it it does says things like speep trad ahead .now.

I use Google Maps often. The only time it has hosed me is when it lags behind where I actually am at the time. Causes lots of Bat turns.
