Plane kind of looks like a Piper Pawnee, but he said it's a Turbine so it isn't...I bet that thing is a hoot to fly.

Good friend of mine crashed a Pawnee a number of years ago flying glider tow. Took off, oil pressure crashed...he cut loose on the glider he was towing and put it into a ditch in the desert...ground looped etc. He walked away though.

I have ridden in a glider only once in my life, and the tow plane was a Pawnee. There is a glider port in Newcastle Va. That was in 1990 I think. My buddy that flew me, died several years ago. He was a good dude. Here is a link to the gliderport. Sailing over the Blue Ridge mountains was pretty dang awesome.

There was at one time. I remember talking to him, but that has been a long time ago. I think he was from Statesboro or something. Seems to me that he didn't actually fly at that point, but his family was in the business. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

That may be an Atlanta CL ad, but those photos are definitely not in ATL.

Stucco homes and mountains? It ain't Florida either. Looks more like SoCal...
