he will need it all to get out of student loan hell. My niece just graduated, 4 yr BS major Biology.

Interning now at Pfizer, paid but in two cycles over two years... College gave her the diploma and the USPS gave her the new payment plan starting in 3 months of all the loans ~$100k worth...

With a speciality MD/DO degree, assuming he has NO debt from undergrad, he is looking at excess of 150K in loans, unless Dad has spare cash to cover it all.



My PA program ran 52K. I was on a mission to pay that OFF ASAP. Worked 2 jobs and had it paid off in under 3 years while on deferment to avoid high interest.
