WEEK 12

We're winding down the regular season. We've got a few good ranked match-ups today. #21 Arkansas @ #2 Alabama at 3:30 EST, and tonight #3 Oregon goes on the road to #23 Utah. 'Bama must win out to stay alive for the playoff. Ditto Oregon.


GAME OF THE WEEK: #7 Michigan State @ #4 Ohio State

The biggest game of the week kicks off our Saturday at Noon EST. Mel Tucker is getting a HUGE raise. Sparty is stepping up and getting serious about their football program, and keeping their star coach away from the clutches of LSU and USC. And he's earned it, Michigan State is damn good. But today, they have an uphill battle on the road against a far more talented Ohio State squad. Winner takes pole position in the B1G East division, loser is eliminated from the College Football Playoff race. Huge stakes, should be a good one!

Impressive opening drive for the Buckeyes.* Very patient, kept taking what the MSU defense was giving them (great tackling by Sparty), picked up a few first downs, and then BAM one down-field pass right on the money to Olave for the TD.

Interesting that the 5 and up teams mostly put a whooping on opponents. Not sure the playoffs are working as planned. CFB is the new UFC. Show me the money!
