You know I asked my MIL too many times if she was in pain, always the same answer, she always said no. I knew her so well, that we really had a wonderful connection, it was just awesome. Both, of my wife's parents actually turned to me, at the end. Now that touches my heart deeply. Even the home health caregiver mentioned something once about this subject, too kind of her.

So yes she's no longer suffering and life will go forward, just without her funny voice and laughter.....

We had my MIL living with us, and she took a really nasty turn, which we did not recognize as Alzheimer's. We ended up needing a lawyer to basically evict her. She passed last year. Sad, but my wife finally got too tired of being abused to let her stay. I could write a chapter for a novel...

Going out to play Santa today for the hood's children's party. I have my ATV decked out, including a siren to let them know Santa is near. Should be a fun time!
