Turk's in the brine. Getting ready for fryer tomorrow.

Turkey gravy - Done.

Desserts made. Always make dessert first. Dressing made and ready for oven tomorrow. About to get the turkeys in the pan so I can stick them in the oven in the morning. Cooking sides tomorrow. Peas, creamed corn, green beans, sweet potatoes.

Sweet potato casserole, corn casserole, deviled eggs done. Dressing and Turkey tomorrow. Got the kids bringing other sides and desserts.

I should make deviled eggs, I forgot. Maybe tomorrow or this weekend.

Deviled Eggs

There's a place in Reston, VA that makes the most incredible DE's; Jackson's. They have spiced pecans, sugar cured bacon and pickled watermelon rind. We've tried to recreate, and come close, but not perfect.

I could easily eat a dozen if nobody was looking at the potluck
