Yeah, Louisiana didn't have the best roads of the many states we've lived in. Maybe not the worst, but close.

IMO NC does a better job on their secondary roads than SC... when we drive down to my inlaws (they live in Lancaster) there's a huge difference in the road surface, width and the number of pot holes from NC vs SC... SC is much worse!

They allow Cajuns to make roads here, they flood easily during the smallest rain storm and are loaded with pot holes (no salt).

I say it's because of crawfish; flooded pot holes are where the traps go.
